Unexpectedly, the match between Zhao Xintong of China and Lukas Kleckers of Germany ended up one-sided in favour of Zhao. Though both of them are high calibre snooker players and everybody expected a close contest between them but Zhao was also aware of this and he curtailed Lukas since the start of the match.

Welsh player, Alex Taubman missed the maximum possible in snooker '147' while playing against Antti Tolvanen of Finland. Alex was in good form and had cleared all red-black combinations, but after potting the last black, his cue-ball landed in a difficult position for yellow. The only option left in that position was long pot, which he missed and the break finished on 120.
