Wang Yuchen of China turned around the entire match from expected lose to a sensational win. While playing against Ratchayothin Yotharuck of Thailand, Wang was down 3-1 and in that do-or-die situation, he cracked with a century break of 101 in fifth frame and took over the complete control.

The team Poland 3 comprises of Kacper Filipiak and Mateusz Baranowski started their campaign in the World Team championships with a cracking win of 5-0 against team UAE 2 (Mohammed Alshamsi and Saif Alketbi).

After Zielinski, Mateusz Baranowski from Poland was also on the way to give another dent in Indian camp but on the right time, Manan Chandra from India converted almost lost match into great win.

Mateusz Baranowski pulled second and third frame from Chandra on black ball to enjoy 3-Nil lead. In both the frames, Chandra had chances but Baranowski pulled on edge by potting black ball.
