India's Pankaj Advani, who reached Karachi on Thursday to defend his World 6Reds title succeeded to do so. Today he won the last match of this championship defeating reigning world snooker champion Yan Bingtao of China 6-2 in the final.
Despite playing lengthy round of semi final today morning, Advani was in full control and bagged first three frames very soon.
Bingtao, who made a comeback with breaks of 66 and 37 in 4th and 5th frame couldn't deliver his magic further as Advani did not give him any chance in next three frames and completely dominated having breaks of 71 and 35 to rout Bingao and secure his title.
In women's category, Ng On Yee of Hong Kong wins the 2015 World 6Reds Women Championship defeating India's Vidya Pillai 5-1 in best of 9 frames final. This is her second world 6Reds title after she won the inaugural championship in the year 2013.
On Yee was in commanding form since start and soon she won first four frames without giving any chance to Vidya. However, Vidya fought back and won next two frames to narrow the deficit but On Yee was more determined and capitalized the 7th frame to win the championship.
