Former European Champion, Tatjana Vasiljeva from Latvia won the high quality match she played against former World Champion, Ng On Yee of Hong Kong. Both of them countered each other very well but in the last, Tatjana passed through and won the decider 3-2.
Muhammad Sajjad from Pakistan defeated Issara Kachaiwong of Thailand to top the Group N. They both played today to retain the top slot for the group.
Mohammed Shehab of UAE played very precisely and made good break with best shot selection during his match against Muhammad Faaris Kahn of South Africa and won 4-2.
Jamie Clarke from Wales was trailing 1-2 against Elaziz Oussama of Morocco but recovered well on time to save the match 4-2.
Unexpectedly, the match between Zhao Xintong of China and Lukas Kleckers of Germany ended up one-sided in favour of Zhao. Though both of them are high calibre snooker players and everybody expected a close contest between them but Zhao was also aware of this and he curtailed Lukas since the start of the match.
Reigning Asian Under-21 silver medalist, Yuan Sijun from China played very well and defeated the tough challenge from Ireland, Greg Casey in straight set of frames 4-0.
Welsh player, Alex Taubman missed the maximum possible in snooker '147' while playing against Antti Tolvanen of Finland. Alex was in good form and had cleared all red-black combinations, but after potting the last black, his cue-ball landed in a difficult position for yellow. The only option left in that position was long pot, which he missed and the break finished on 120.
Issara Kachaiwong from Thailand imposed two century breaks in his today's match against Ahmed Haitham of Yeman. Issara was in good touch and went for a century break in second frame where he scored a break of 102.

The 2015 IBSF World Snooker championship begins at Hurghada, Egypt.
The Opening Ceremony was held last night at Sunrise Garden Beach Resort and after the glittering cultural program, Mr. Barrie Jones, the IBSF Board Member announced the championship open.
The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Ahmed Nasir, President of African Sports Confederation. He was joined by the dignitaries from IBSF and all participating member countries.
The ceremony began with the procession of all players participating in the championships. After that the Chief Guest Mr. Nasir welcomed the players & delegates to Egypt and congratulated the Egyptian Federation for their efforts to hold this championship in Hurghada.
There are total 44 countries participating in the championships and we have received total 134 entries in Men's category, which are divided into 22 groups. Four will qualify from each group to play knockout from 16th onwards.
For women and Masters caregory, total 32 and 80 players are participating and their knockout matches will start from 18th onwards.
For the championships Mr. Simon Smith from United Kingdom is appointed as Tournament Director, Mr Mohammed Kammah, IBSF Overseer, Mr Marawan El-Enani from Egypt is Assistant Tournament Director, Mr.Joseph Lo from Hong Kong is Head Referee, Mr. Nico De Vos from Belgium and Mr. Ali Reda from Egypt are Assistant Head Referees. Dariusz Goral from Poland is taking care of Live Scoring / Results; and Vivek Pathak from India is Media Officer and for Website Updates. The Tournament Committee is supported by Egyptian Federation Organising Committee, Mr Amer Khattab and Mr Rageh Hosni.
