Chinese women player Xia Yuying has already secured her place for the knockout stage of IBSF World Under-21 Women Snooker Championship by winning first three matches out of four in her Group A of World Under-21 Women Snooker Championship 2019 here in Pingdu, China.

Xia Yuying played first match yesterday against her compatriot Kang Chuyue and defeated her 2-1. Though she struggled in first frame to trail 0-1 but later she won both the required frame and won the match.

That win must have remained a good boost as in next match she caused major upset of the tournament by defeating multiple time world champion Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan in straight set of frames 2-0. She actually outplayed Siripaporn by dominating the entire match and crafted breaks of 47 and 35.

Today also she outclassed another worthy player from her group, the 2017 World Under-16 champion, Anupama Ramachandran. Though Anupama gave a good fight and managed to secure second frame, but failed to stop Xia Yuying’s winning streak by losing the decider. The score was 2-1.
