Men, Masters and Women teams of Thailand has now become champion in all three categories of World Team Snooker Championships 2018.
Thailand Men represented by Thanawat Thirapongpaeboon and Passakorn Suwannawat and they both defeated team Hong Kong (Chau Hon Man / Lee Tsz Ho) 5-2. During the match Thailand sent contribution of 64, 64, 102 and 64 points break to win the match.
Thailand maintained their dominating approach after the first frame and conquered brilliantly to take 3-1 lead. Though Lee Tsz Ho gave little turbulence by winning fifth frame but that doesn’t affect at all on their winning streak. After that they made century break of 102 in scotch-double frame and next 64 by Passakorn was sufficient enough to declare team Thailand winner of Men’s category.
For Masters, team Thailand comprises of Phisit Chandsri and Suckakree Poomjang knocked out India’s Alok Kumar and Rafath Habib in an almost one-sided affair 5-1.
Alok started well and won the first frame but after that both the Thai players dominated all around by winning back to back next five frames with comfortable margin and ousted team India.
Whereas in Women competition, team India with Amee Kamani and Vidya Pillai gave tough fight to Thai women but failed to save the match.
A well-controlled break of 75 points by Siripaporn was the main highlight of the match, which gave them lot of confidence and they continued their journey towards the win.
After the match Vidya Pillai and Amee Kamani from India shown great sportsmanship by hugging both the young girls from Thailand and congratulated them on their superb feat.
