Pongsakorn Chongjairak from Thailand has made it thru to the final of 2018 IBSF World Under-21 Snooker championship here in Jinan, China. In the semi-final match he defeated home favourite Bingyu Chang 5-1.
Pongsakorn stayed throughout the competition in an attacking form and the same he continued in the semi final too. He started with an opening break of 92 and then capitalized the second frame too to take first lead.
However, Bingyu Chang responded with a break of 118 in third frame to cut the deficit and tried his best in fourth frame too but Ponsgakorn sent a worthy break of 56 points not only to snatch that frame but also sent another contribution of 70 points in next to leave Bingyu way behind.
In last two frames Bingyu couldn’t score even a single point and finally accepted the defeat.
