IBSF World Under 21 Snooker Championship
The 2010 IBSF World Under 21 Mens Snooker Championship is currently underway at the Northwest Snooker Club in Letterkenny, Ireland from 31 July to 10 August
Live scoring of matches will commence at 10:00am Irish Time (GMT+1) on Sunday 1 August

The 2010 IBSF World Billiards Championship will be held at the PYC Hindu Gymkhana Club in Pune, India from 20 – 28 August 2010. Both Point and Time Limit formats will be played.
Accommodation will be provided at the venue at the rate of $US90 per night for a Double Room, or $US80 per night for a Single Room.

IBSF signs new contract with table manufacturer Shender

Today in China Pascal Guillaume President of the IBSF and the President of Shender Mr Kevin Huang signed the new contract to recognise Shender as the table sponsor for the IBSF for the next three years.

Below are the Rules that have been adopted by the IBSF, and under which the
2010 IBSF 6 Red Snooker Championships will be conducted:
1. Delete the Miss Rule
2. After any foul, the player has 3 options:
3. All fouls will score 6 points, except those previously awarded as 7 points within the Rules.

The inaugural IBSF World 6 Red Snooker Championship will be held in April 2010

The IBSF is pleased to announce the confirmation of dates and venues for the IBSF World Snooker Championships for 2009.
The World Under 21 Men Snooker Championship will be played in Kish Island, Iran from 3rd - 14th August.
The World Snooker Championship (Men, Women & Masters) will be in Hyderabad, India from 15th - 29th November.
Negotiations are underway for the World Billiards Championships and an announcement will be made once confirmed.
