World No.2 Nay Thway survives from an unexpected defeat

World Billiards No.2 and current Asian Billiards Champion, Nay Thway Oo of Myanmar survived from a tense round robin match against unseeded Ketan Chawla from India in the World Billiards (150Up) Championship 2019 here in Mandalay, Myanmar


Nay Thway started with a high quality unfinished break of 150 points to pocket first game but in the second game he struggled after making 61 points break and Ketan won that to brought back match at par.

In third game also, Nay Thway struggled after making 41 points when Ketan countered him and reached to the score of 84. However, Nay Thway managed to score some more points and then unfinished break of 81 to lead 2-1.

Fourth game was crucial where both the players tightened the situation and ran parallelly. On score of 141, Nay Thway once again struggled and then both spent more time on safety but finally Nay Thway got clearance to score balance 9 points and close the proceedings 3-1
