Russian Girls dominates in the World Under-16 Girls Snooker

Three Russian girls have confirmed their entry in the medals round by winning their quarter final matches today afternoon.


All three Russian girls defeated Indian girls in the quarter finals. In first quarter final, top-seed Alexandra Riabinina faced tough fight against Indian girl Ananya Patel and managed to win 3-2.

Another Russian girl Sophia Beldenko also defeated Indian girl Sanvi Shah 3-1 and the Kseniia Zhukova defeated Kanisha Jurani in straight set of frames 3-0.

The fourth semi finalist is last year’s runner-up from Belarus Albina Leschuk. She also faced tough challenge but managed to win 3-2 against Lilly Meldrum.
