Multiple time world champion Pankaj Advani knocked out another excellent player from the world of Cue Sports, Darren Morgan from the Quarter final stage of Asian Tour 10Reds Snooker 2018.
This match was considered to be a tough match of the competition as both holds a strong and long experience of playing snooker. Accordingly, Darren started with a well-crafted break of 58 to score 92-12 and took first lead.
Second frame was also crucial and both spent a much time to play safe but on the first opportunity, Pankaj broke the ice and snatched the frame to make it level.
From there onwards, Pankaj dominated and won back to back two more frames to enhance his lead 3-1.
However, Darren had some chances in the fifth frame but couple of mistakes costed him that frame too and after that Pankaj once again shown his class and sealed the sixth frame 45-14 to close the proceedings 5-1 in his favour. He will now meet Brendan O’Donoghue of Ireland in the Semi Finals tomorrow.
