World Under-18 title goes to Asia
All eight boys who entered in the quarter-final stage of 2018 IBSF World Under-18 Snooker championship are from Asia. Five Chinese players, two from Pakistan and a Thailand player are now in contest for the title.

There were total 7 Chinese players qualified for the single elimination round and two got out in Last-16.

Defending champion, Muhammad Naseem continued his winning streak and now he will meet Peifan Lei of China. Peifan is the same player whom he defeated last year to lift his title.

Phuttakarn Kimsuk of Thailand was leading 3-0 when Irish boy Aaron Hill made a strong comeback and won next three frames to set decider. Though he couldn’t made it through as Phuttakarn posted break of 81 to save the match.

Jianbo Zhao of China didn’t give any chance to his opponent from Belgium, Julien Leclercq, and scored three breaks of 103, 66 and 52 to win 4-0. Julien score in all four frames remained 11, 0, 0, 13.
