The 2017 IBSF World 6Reds and Team Snooker Championship saw its closing ceremony today with the prize distribution to all medal winners at the main conference hall of Pyramisa Sahl Hashish Beach Resort in Hurghada.

Total five events been played in last 10 days having competitions in 6Reds Men and Women during initial days and the Team championships of Men, Women and Masters in last 4 days.

Overall, the championship remained another successful feather in Egyptian cap where all the participants are returning home with sweet memories.

The Men and Women 6Reds competition won by Darren Morgan of Wales and Ng On Yee of Hong Kong. Darren defeated Kamal Chawla of India in the final and Ng On Yee ousted Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan of Thailand.

In team championships, The Pakistan team comprises of Muhammad Asif and Babar Masih won the title defeating their own countries another team Muhammad Sajjad and Asjad Iqbal 5-4

In Women’s category, Thai girls Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan and Waratthanun Sukritthanes remained winner for this year. They defeated Hong Kong pair Ng On Yee and Ka Kai Wan 3-1 in the final.

The Masters category won by Thailand players Chuchart Trairattanapradit and Suchart Sukliem. They beat Welsh team Darren Morgan and his brother Wayne Morgan 5-3.

Hon’ble Governor of Red Sea, General Ahmed Abdullah was the chief guest for the closing ceremony. He, along with, Mr. Jim Leacy, IBSF Vice President, Mr. Mohammed El-Kammah, Secretary General of IBSF and other dignitaries, gave away the prizes to medal winners.
