Welsh boys enters medals round of World Team Men Snooker

Welsh boys Andrew Pagett and Alex Toubman edged out Team Hong Kong-3 by winning 4 frames to 1 and confirmed medal for their country in the World Team Snooker Men Championship here at Hurghada, Egypt.

It appeared quite easy for Welsh boys having notable play by them throughout the competition but Chou Hon Man and Lee Tsz Ho gave tough fight in the initial rounds of the match.

The first frame Andrew pulled out by 21 points but Alex couldn’t save the next frame and lost on black ball game. 50-59.

After that they curtailed Hong Kong players in the doubles to seal the frame 79-20 and further ahead in both individual frames, they crafted good breaks of 98 and 58 to confirm their victory to enter medals round.
