Chinese player Luo Honghao and India’s Shrikrishna were first two clear their last-32 matches to enter in pre-quarter finals of 2017 IBSF World Under-21 Boys Snooker Championship.

They both joined by another Chinese boy Bingyu Chang, Ming Wa Man (Hong Kong) and Noel Landers (Ireland) to post identical score win 5-0 over their respective opponents.

Luo was the first to win his match against Thai boy Tawan Pooltong. From first frame itself, he was eyeing for the big break but couldn’t make any in first two frames. After that he crafted two breaks of 90 and 62 points to settle the score.

Indian player Shrikrishna was in a very attacking form and went for every shot from any place on the table. Though he did not get any big break but maintained his lead throughout in each frame, which was enough to edge out Peter Devlin of England.

The other players Bingyu Chang knocked out Keishin Kamihashi of Japan, Noel Landers ousted Jed Mann (England) and Ming Wa Man sent back Kreishh Gurbaxani with the identical scores 5-0.

The most disappointing result remained for Ashutosh Padhy of India, who was leading 4-3 and lost the battle 5-4 that is too on last black.
