China’s top level pool player enters in the Junior World Snooker competition

After successful completion of IBSF Under-18 Snooker championship, the Under-21 Snooker event began today in the Snooker Academy at Beijing, China.

The morning session surprised lot of spectators when they saw a Chinese women player holding pool cue to play on snooker table. This was Xiaotang Wang, who is actually one of the top level pool player in china, and this is her first time to play in any World Snooker competition.

More surprise came was when she clinched first frame against the World Open Under-18 Women champion, Nutcharat Wongharuthai of Thailand, who lifted the Under-18 Women title last night only.

Though Xiaotang lost the match 3-1 but she was showing her determination and clear potting skills even with the pool cue. However, Nutcharat curtailed her in subsequent frames and took 2-1 lead but in fourth frame Xiaotang crafted an impressive break of 46 points to take lead, where Nutcharat had to made counter break of 44 points to close the proceedings 3-1.
