Lucky escape for Hall

Robert Hall - England Robert Hall - England IBSF Media

Former World No.2 Robert Hall from England constantly received jitters from the four times World billiards finalist and Ex-Asian champion Devendra Joshi but he compiled much worthy last 25 points to survive in the last moments of play.

Hall had a good start and he crafted breaks of 98 and 152 to gain handsome lead but Joshi countered him well and once getting good control over the match, he went for a big one. It could be a match winning break but Joshi missed an off-cushion cannon and the break ended on 175 points falling 35 points short to 500.

Although Joshi got two more visits after that but on both occasion he did not get proper position and managed to compile only 26 points as Hall scored his balance 25 points and won the match.
