Xu Si - Alexander set stage for world under-21 boys final

Xu Si of China knocked out the German player Lukas Kleckers 5-2 in the first semi-final of World Under-21 Boys Snooker championship 2016 here at Mol, Belgium.

Lukas shown his good form and capitalized first two frames but Xu Si bounced back with an excellent break of 73 points and won third frame.

Although Lukas tried hard in next two frames but in both Xu Si curtailed him and won both the frames65-57, 67-55. Xu did not stop there and carried the same zeal in remaining two frames to knockout Lukas 5-2.

He is now ready to take on Alexander Ursenbacher of Switzerland who reached in the final defeating Ka Wai Cheung of Hong Kong 5-3. At one stage, Alexander was down 2-3 but he held his nerve better in remaining frames to clinch 5-3 victory.

With this Alexander becomes the first Swiss player who reached in the final of any IBSF event.
