Aleksandra sweat hard to reach the Quarter finals

Aleksandra Bogatyreva from Russia, who qualified for knockout stage as the last seeded player, worked hard clear first hurdle of single elimination and confirmed her berth in quarter finals.
Today she made an impressive comeback from the stage where she could’ve lost but turned the entire match towards her side and defeated Jeongmin Park of South Korea 4-3.
Although she was working hard since the first frame but Jeongmin got better control and won first three frames 46-36, 59-46 and 52-42.
Just a frame away from victory, Joengmin wouldn’t have thought such a drastic defeat as Aleksandra took over good control in fourth frame and won 89-47. Even after that she did better in all the remaining frames to score 45-31, 70-25 and 52-28 to shut the doors for Jeongmin.
Aleksandra will now take on Under-18 Runner-up Nutcharat Wongharuthai of Thailand in Quarter Finals.
