IBSF World U18 and U21 starts at Mol, Belgium

The 2016 IBSF World Under-18 and Under-21 Snooker championship was announced by IBSF President Capt. PVK Mohan. The championship will take place from 16th till 25th August at Mol, Belgium. In the opening ceremony held yesterday, Capt. Mohan played the opening shot for the competition.

It is indeed a pleasure moment for IBSF to see such a high number of participation from these youngsters. Last year the IBSF board under the leadership of its President, Capt. PVK Mohan had decided to start a new competition for Under-18 boys & girls and saw more than 70 players participation and this year when the limited number of entries allowed for each country, the participation has reached to 87. It is definitely a huge success and a bright chance for these future stars to prove themselves in the field of cue sports.

The opening ceremony was graced by IBSF President, Capt Mohan along with Vice President, Maxime Cassis and other dignitaries from Belgium, Leen Janssen, Paul Janssen, Nico De Vos and Ignace.

IBSF is happy to see the arrangements done by Belgian Federation for this championship and sure that these young stars will show excellent game of snooker for next ten days.
