TEAM UAE sends the Masters’ champions home

Today’s morning session had seen a major upset in Masters’ Team category where United Arab Emirates team comprises of Marwan Alfalasi and Salim Ali Alsuwaidi knocked out Last year’s champion team Afghanistan (Saleh Mohammed and Zemarai Hassas) 3 frames to 1.
Though Afghanistan started on excellent node where Saleh Mohammed crafted two breaks of 40 and 67 to win the first frame but Zemarai failed to lift the second and lost 39-60 against Salim Alsuwaidi.
After that the UAE team controlled the doubles frame and made an effective break of 57 points to take lead and later in reverse single, Marwan Alfalasi also curtailed Zemarai and send the defenders home.
