Talaat – Nowair shown consistency to win Team Match

Egyptian fancied players Wael Talaat and Mohamed Noweir of Egypt-11 ousted Egypt-9 crafting breaks with consistency.
In first frame, Talaat made 40 followed by Nowair with 45 and later they made joint break of 53 points to secure the match.
They further continued with small but effective breaks to win the match 5-0
English team (Simon Dent and Paul Norris) struggled in last two frames which may cost them in frame average. Though they had won first three frames and secured the match against Saudi Arabia-1 but suffered frame loses in remaining two (individuals) where Mohammed Alotaibi beat Simon Dent 68-16; Osama Ammar and beat Paul Norris 63-38.
Saleh Mohammed of Afghanistan was also in good form and crafted break of 82 in fourth frame against Moztaba Seraffazi of Team Iran.
