Groups to be decided today

In yesterday evening session there were some exciting matches in 2013 IBSF World Under-21 Snooker Championship here in Beijing, China.

 

Zhao Xintong (China) and Chinnapat Kamsad (Thailand) played a high quality match and till the end it could move either side. Though Kamsad had a break of 78 points to win the match 4-3 but his 78 points break had some crucial shots which he converted into successful pots brilliantly.

Unlike the compatriot, Boonyarit Keattikul (Thailand) lost the decider and match while playing against Ashley Carty (England). However, Boonyarit had breaks of 77, 88 and 63 points to gain the lead 3-1 but Ashley counted in subsequent frames to register convincing win. Ashley also made a break of 74 points in 6th frame.

Austrian player Andreas Ploner pulled a good win against Yuan Sijun of China. Down two frames, Andreas recovered by one but again lost another to trail 1-3. After that he tightened the string and won subsequent frames to seal the match 4-3.

Zhu Yinghui of China has not yet lost a single frame and if he continues the same way, he will get the top-seed for sure. Other players who are eying to be in top-8 those will move directly into last 32 are Jamie Clarke (Wales), Wang Yuchen (China), Michal Zielinski (Poland), Lu Ning (China), Zhou Yuelong (China), Zhao Xingtong (China) and Adam Stefanow (Poland).
