Phisit Chandsri - Thailand Phisit Chandsri - Thailand IBSF Media

Phisir Chandsri of Thailand successfully defends his World Snooker Masters title defeating Jason Peplow 6-2 in the final today. This is his third world title in a row from his début in snooker at Daugavpils (2013) followed by Bangalore (2014) and now here in Hurghada today.

The journey for him in this championship was comfortable and he faced no big hurdle except few frame loses in the league stages.

Today also, he countered the Maltese challenge, Jason Peplow, without any major problem. Phisit also posted three breaks of 54, 61 and 46 in 2nd, 7th and 8th frame to close the proceedings.

Jason, who also went through an interested journey and reached the final winning three deciders in knockout stage, today managed to win third and fifth frame but after that it was all for Phisit.

The losing semi finalists, Alen Matic of Ireland and Mohammed Al Joaker of UAE shared the joint bronze.
