Zhao Xintong - China Zhao Xintong - China IBSF Media

Former World No.2 Zhao Xintong from China entertained the spectators with back to back two century breaks in last two frames and won 4-1 against Afghanistan's Mohammad Rais Senzahi.

Zhao was leading 2-0 when Rais pulled a frame to narrow the deficit but in fourth and fifth frame Rais had no other option rather staying like a mute spectator as Zhao scored breaks of 119 and 116 points to close the proceedings 4-1.

Karam Fatima from Syria also scored a century break of 101 points in his match against Richard Halliday of South Africa. With this break, Karam was leading 3-0 but Richard recovered to win next two frames and put extra pressure on him.

Sniffing the danger, Karam took the charge and sealed the sixth frame 77-17 and avoided chances of decider.

In Masters, Darren Morgan of Wales was in great form and crafted breaks of 69, 58 and 117 while playing against Mario Van Herk of Belgium. He beat Mario 3-1.

In women's category, Chitra M. of India pulled a sensational victory over Theresa Whitten of Australia.

After losing first frame, Chitra fought really hard and won the second frame by one point. She went on and won next frame too but Theresa countered her well by winning the fourth and set decider. The decider was also tough for Chitra but she played fully controlled game and won that 64-31.
