Joseph, Brian faces turbulence but saved matches

Joseph O`Connor of England and Brian Cini of Malta won their respective matches in an almost same fashion. Both were in a comfort zone but slipped to fall into decider. However, both timely saved their matches.

Joseph produced worthy breaks of 65, 51 and 66 points to gain 3-1 lead against Tom Rees of Wales. When it appeared that Joseph will soon finish the match, Rees imposed an excellent break of 75 points to win the fifth frame. He continued the same zeal in next frames also to come at par. In the decider, Rees gave a tough fight but Joseph, however, managed to step ahead and registered 4-3 win.

Almost same situation was for Brian Sini of Malta who struggled against Adam Fitzgerald of Ireland despite leading 3-1. Adam made a good come back to set decider but Brian hold his nerve to win the deciding frame 75-35 and the match as well. Before that Brian also made two breaks of 81 and 56 in second and third frame.
