Siyavosh Mozayani - Iran Siyavosh Mozayani - Iran IBSF Media

Siyavosh Mozayani had to fought hard especially in the last two frames to beat Dharminder Lilly of India 4-1 in SEAWAYS IBSF World Snooker Championship 2014 here in Bengaluru.

Claiming first frame by a good margin, Siyavosh faced a stiff competition in the next and lost frame on black ball. However, he recovered in the third frame to gain the lead and later had to sweat hard in last two frames as both the frames could be anyone's game and Siyavosh managed to win both on black ball to seal the match 4-1.

In masters, fancied and much popular player from UAE, Mohammed Al Joaker lost to Irishman Anthony Bonnar in straight sets of frame 3-0. Joaker had chances to score in all three frames but couldn't convert into big breaks whereas Anthony capitalized every time and kept scoring as and when he got on shot.

Muhammed Leysi of Turky also struggled but managed to win the decider against Ebrahim Baghi of Austria. Both the players kept winning alternate frames and ended with the win in favour of Leysi 3-2.

Though Chin Pang David Cheung of Hong Kong lost the match but worth mentioning that he recovered brilliantly in first frame against World No.2 (Masters) Glen Wilkinson of Australia. Glen had set a high score where Chin need snooker to get back in game, which he did successfully by planting snooker on yellow and won the frame. However, he couldn't keep up that zeal in next frames and lost to Glen 3-1.
