Team Thailand becomes World Team Women Champion

Team Thailand comprises of Amornrat Uamduang and Siripaporn nuanthakhamjan defeated Russian women team Daria Sirotina and Anastasia Nechaeva 4-1 to lift the 2014 IBSF World Team Women Championship here in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt.
Both the Thai girls gave consistent performance and capitalized all single frames they played. The only frame they lost was doubles. Siripaporn, who few hours back had won the World 6Reds title, scored brilliant 54 points break in 4th frame to give more strength to her team.
The Russian women team settled for Silver and the bronze is jointly shared by Team India (Vidya Pillai and Amee Kamani) and Team Hong Kong (Ng On Yee and Ka Kai Wan)
