Impressive win by Siripaporn to knockout European Champion

Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan of Thailand played well in the semi final match and knocked out former European champion and much experienced Tatjana Vasiljeva 3-1.

Both the players reached at table much confident and gave a good start to the match. On the first breakthrough, Tatjana captured the first frame 34-09 but Siripaporn was not interested to come under any kind of pressure and replied with a break of 23 points to come at par 1-1. She also secured the third frame by winning 36-16.

In the fourth frame Tatjana was leading by 10 points and needed only pink to level the match but after multiple dry visits of both the players, Siripaporn played a brilliant long shot to pot the pink and taken a dicey black and entered in the final.

She will play the final against Anastasia Nechaeva of Russia who outclassed her compatriot Daria Sirotina 3-1. Anastasia had a break of 44 points in opening frame but lost the next one on black ball. After that she did not give much chance to Daria and closed the proceedings 3-1 in her favour.
