Goggins proving his supremacy in the deciders

Irishman Rodney Goggins played two matches today and in both he won the deciders.

Today morning he played and knocked out Polish player Michal Zielinski 4-3. He exhibited phenomenal snooker and good control on cue-ball to step into the  pre-quarters of 6Reds World Championship.

Rodney had a good start in the match and was enjoying 3-1 lead when Michal put some pressure on him by winning 5th and 6th frames to level and set the decider. In the decider, Rodney got chance when Michal was leading by 38 points with 35 on table. In that situation, Rodney laid a good snooker to get back into the game and moved ahead step by step to achieve victory in an almost lost match.

In the next match, he attained a big win by defeating reigning World Under-21 champion, Hossein Vafaei Ayouri of Iran, and that too by winning the decider frame.

In this match, Rodney started with 57 points break and faced break of 60 in next frame by Hossein. Rodney countered the next frame with a break of 48 points and further on both the players kept winning alternate frames to reach the decider where Rodney succeeded with a score 40-24 to reach quarters.
