Excellent morning start for the Egyptian camp as their player Ahmed Zaki shocked the former world champion Darren Morgan of Wales in the 6Reds discipline. Zaki beat Darren 4-3.

Darren was playing well and had scored three breaks in the entire match but he failed to save the last two crucial frames and match as well.

On the otherside, Zaki started on a good node and won the first frame 37-19. However, the next frame went to Darren who produced a break of 30 points to level again. He further produced two more breaks in 4th and 5th frame and enjoying 3-2 lead.

At that crucial stage and against such an experienced player, applaud to Zaki who made a break of 30 points to level the match and set decider. In the decider, Zaki scored 43 against 20 by Darren and upset the former champion.
