2014 IBSF World Under21 Snooker Championship announced open after the Players and Official meeting. In the meeting, IBSF President Jim Leacy was present alongwith IBSF Overseer Michael Alkhoury (Treasurer IBSF) and UAEBSA President, Sultan Al-Joaker.
After the no-show from Russia in men's discipline, now total 78 players are contesting. All groups are with 5 players each except Group F and H where 4 players will contest to qualify for knockout stage.
Women's Group A has four players and Group B has five players. Three from each group will qualify for knockouts.
First session matches will start at 12:00.
