China Rules. Retained title in Asia

This would have first time in the history of World Snooker where two Under-21 Chinese boys Zhao Xingtong and Zhou Yuelong entering into Men's World Championship.

Today in the semi finals these two boys knocked out Pakistan's Muhammad Sajjad and Lee Walker of Wales 7-5 and 7-4 respectively to confirm 2013 World Snooker title for their country and to retain in Asia for fourth time in a row.

Lee Walker started off well with an opening break of 101 points and quickly gained 3-1 lead when Zhou produced two breaks of 93 and 64 to counter him and narrow the deficit. Lee won one more frame before Zhou took over and played consistently to keep winning remaining frames to outplay Lee 7-4.

The other semifinal was a tightly contested match between Sajjad and Zhao where both countered each other at level in first 10 frames. After that Zhao geared up and won back to back two more frames to knockout Sajjad 7-5.

Final will be played on 8th December at 10am (Latvia time) for best of 15 frames.
