David Hogan - Ireland David Hogan - Ireland IBSF Media

Winner and Runner-up of this year's World 6Reds championship have lost their respective matches in the last 32 stage of this 15 reds snooker championship. Both the players, Duane Jones (Wales) and Michael Judge (Ireland), lost to Irishmen, Brenden O'Donoghue and David Hogan.

Brendan gave a good start against Jones and in the second frame itself he scored brilliant break of 116 to made his intentions clear. Though there were some ups and down Brendan had no major difficulty in outplaying the reigning 6Reds champion Duane Jones 5-3.

However Hogan had to sweat out against his compatriot Michael Judge. Despite winning the first frame, Hogan went down to 2. Though he managed to win frame three by one point but once again failed in the next and trailed 2-3. After that he composed himself to excel with a break of 88 points and so on the next to put himself ahead of Judge.

Much experienced Judge countered him in next frame with a break of 53 points to set a decider but it was Hogan who got better in last frame to win the frame and match.
