In men’s category world snooker championship Shachar Ruberg of Israel shocked multiple time world team snooker champion Babar Masih of Pakistan.


Though there wasn’t any single break throughout the match, but both played quality match and one frame Shachar pulled off by one point only. However, despite this lose, Babar still qualifies as group topper for the knockout stage.

Another upset was of Hong Kong player Au Chi Wai who lost to Alvin Barbero of Philippines 3-4. At one stage, Alvin was down 1-3 and then he pulled up three frames in a row to change his fate as winner. In the last frame he scored break of 54 points.
