Thai girls wins the World Women Team Snooker Championship IBSF Media

Thai girls Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan and Waratthanun Sukritthanes have won the 2017 IBSF World Women Team Snooker Championship here at Hurghada, Egypt.

In the final, they beat another strong team of the competition, Hong Kong-1 comprises of multiple time world champion, Ng On Yee and her partner Ka Kai Wan 3-1.

In the changed order of sending players, Waratthanun came first from Thailand for the opening frame against Ng On Yee, but couldn’t faltered after making 24 points and lost the frame.

After that Siripaporn curtained Ka Kai Wan to 6 points only and defeated her 76-06 to come at par. Even in doubles frame, they both did well and pulled up the frame 62-29 to take 2-1 lead.

That lead must have given a good boost to Waratthanun and she also capitalized the fourth frame by 67-10 to knockout the Team Hong Kong-1 and sent claim for the competition title.
